DOAGH FAMINE VILLAGE
The Famine Village at the Isle of Doagh Visitors Center is an unique attraction drawing in visitors all year round from all over the world. Unmissable, so take a step back in time and experience what life was like and the hardships endured during the Great Famine and beyond. There is are also a children's play area and boating pond on site. Nearby there is Quad and Pony Trekking, a great way to see the Isle of Doagh coastline.

WALKING
If you prefer to explore the variety of scenery surrounding Ballyliffin, take a ramble through our hills and valleys, meadows, bays and bogs. You can also take in two of the areas most scenic landscapes from Clonmany's own waterfall at Glenevin and absorb the spectacular and panoramic view from the Mamore Gap.
Angling
Our mountain rivers are renowned for their trout and salmon. Sea anglers will be equally well served with the waters surrounding Inishowen. Angling equipment can be hired locally.
Birdwatching & Wildlife
For any budding Ornothologists, most of Inishowen has been designated a European Special Area of Conservation. The area is a haven for migrating birds and indigenous wildlife. Over 100 species of bird and fowl can be sighted at any given time of year.
